4C Hair Mask for the Anagen Phase (Growth Phase)

 




Purpose: To nourish the scalp, stimulate hair growth, and strengthen hair strands during the active growth phase.


Ingredients:

1. Aloe Vera Gel (2 tbsp): Rich in enzymes that repair dead skin cells and promote healthy hair growth.

2. Castor Oil (1 tbsp): Contains ricinoleic acid that improves blood circulation to the scalp and enhances growth.

3. Coconut Oil (1 tbsp): Penetrates deeply to moisturize and protect hair from protein loss.

4. Rosemary Essential Oil (5 drops): Stimulates blood flow to the scalp and promotes hair growth.

5. Fenugreek Powder (1 tbsp): Strengthens hair follicles and prevents hair loss.

6. Honey (1 tsp): A natural humectant that helps lock in moisture and add shine.

7. Distilled Water or Aloe Vera Juice (to adjust consistency): Keeps the mixture lightweight and easy to apply.


Instructions:

1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the aloe vera gel, castor oil, and coconut oil.

2. Add the fenugreek powder and stir until it forms a paste.

3. Mix in the honey and add a few drops of rosemary essential oil.

4. Adjust the consistency with distilled water or aloe vera juice to make the mixture easier to apply.

5. Blend the ingredients until smooth (a hand blender works well for this).


Application:

1. Prep: Start with damp, clean hair. Section your hair for easier application.

2. Apply: Using your fingers or a tint brush, apply the mixture directly to your scalp and massage it in for 5-10 minutes to improve circulation.

3. Spread: Work the mixture down the length of your hair to nourish the strands.

4. Cover: Cover your hair with a plastic cap to retain heat and allow deeper penetration.

5. Wait: Leave it on for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

6. Rinse: Wash out the treatment using a sulfate-free shampoo, followed by a moisturizing conditioner.
