DIY Leave-In Spray
Let’s be honest, some days it’s not about “wash day,” it’s about survival mode. You’ve got 5 minutes to make your hair look like you care. That’s where this DIY Leave-In Spray comes in.
I use it when:
• I’m running late for my workout
• My bun needs revival before a shift
• My curls feel like straw but I’m out the door in 10
Here’s the recipe (and yes, it works):
Ingredients:
• 1 cup distilled water
• 1 tbsp aloe vera juice
• 1 tsp glycerin (or honey if you’re anti-glyc)
• 1 tsp leave-in conditioner (your fave brand)
• 5 drops of lavender oil (optional but soothing)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a clean spray bottle.
2. Shake before each use.
3. Spray directly on dry or damp curls, scrunch in, and GO.
Tip: Works as a refresher for next-day styles especially if your hair’s been under a scarf or cap.
